Turning vault research into YouTube scripts — putting ideas into the ether and letting them fall where they do.
Repo: github.com/chrisaacson69/youtube-migration Tools: animation-studio Infrastructure: animation-studio-pod
The Vault’s research pages contain the ideas and theory. The youtube-migration repo contains the episode scripts and production assets. The Vault informs the scripts; production discoveries feed back into the Vault.
The rule: Ideas and theory live in the Vault. Episode scripts and production assets live in the repo. Cross-link, don’t duplicate.
Content pipeline: Vault research → episode script → voiceover (sets timing) → Manim scenes → character art → composite → publish.
Single channel with playlists. The connections between topics are the differentiator. Anyone can talk about insurance or morality separately — the synthesis is what’s new.
The first series. Grounds logic as emergent/invented (not God-given/discovered), then bridges to morality via the agency argument.
| Ep | Title | Vault Source | Core Claim | Status |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | You Don’t Know What Logic Is | History of Logic | Logic is a 2,400-year research program, not a single settled system. Aristotle invented it as a tool. | In production |
| 2 | Logic Becomes Math | History of Logic | Boole, Frege, Russell — logic formalized, then the dream of perfect math | Planned |
| 3 | The Dream Breaks | Emergence and Convergence | Non-classical logics — systems that DROP Aristotle’s laws and still work | Planned |
| 4 | Gödel Breaks Everything | Gödel Against Himself | Incompleteness — math can’t prove itself. Even Gödel misread what it means | Planned |
| 5 | Numbers Aren’t Real | Counting Requires Agents | Shepherd, clouds, line paradox — math is invented, not discovered | Sketched |
| 6 | Morality Without God | Agency as Moral Ground | Agency grounds morality. TAG fails. Performative contradiction. | Sketched |

Candidate topics across all planned series, roughly ordered by accessibility. Each starts with a provocative claim, not a topic.
| # | Topic | Series | Vault Source | Core Claim |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Insurance is a scam | Economics | Insurance | Insurance covers what doesn’t need covering and excludes what does |
| 2 | Opposing forces | Philosophy | Opposing Forces | Every concentration of power generates the force that destroys it |
| 3 | Scope confusion | Philosophy | Scope Confusion | Most political disagreements are people applying the wrong enforcement mechanism |
| 4 | You get what you pay for | Economics | Words of Wisdom + Insurance | Subsidizing X always produces more X — incentives don’t care about intentions |
| 5 | Monopolies fix themselves | Economics | Opposing Forces + Scope Confusion | Government intervention against monopolies produces captured regulation — worse than the original |
| 6 | Civilizational cycles | Philosophy | Civilizational Cycles | Every civilization follows the same arc for the same structural reasons |
| 7 | Ancestral knowledge | Philosophy | (new — Kosher laws thread) | Ancient “religious” rules are often empirical knowledge in disguise |
| 8 | The Kohlberg trap | Philosophy | Civilizational Cycles + Scope Confusion | Demanding government fix everything is developmental regression |
| 9 | The weighting problem | Philosophy | Weighting Problem | Objective measurements don’t produce objective rankings |
| 10 | Compassion without information | Economics | Insurance | Compassion without information is indistinguishable from recklessness |
| 11 | BattleValue | Gaming/Math | BattleValue | One formula compares any two units in any game — and it’s the same math militaries use |
